I am a lifetime Tigers fan, but I feel my childhood die everytime I hear of the passing of one of great ballplayers from that era.

I hear ya. My first memories of watching baseball are from the early ‘70s, when Cuellar’s career was winding down.

One of my fondest memories are of one night listening to the radio with my grandfather, Detroit and Baltimore played about 15 or 16 innings

Ditto. Cuellar and the entire Earl Weaver gang bring back great memories.

Growing up in Detroit in the 60’s, seems every time I went to the corner of Michigan Ave and Trumbull, the Orioles were in town. I marvel at all of the Hall of Famers I used to watch. Always loved Earl weaver too.
