If you were to delve into the “rest of the story” concerning these pit bull attacks, I think youd discover they are not so lethal if they were raised with a normal family. I rented a room when I was in school from a family that had pitbulls who hunted wild boar in the Everglades. They kept them in the house, but God forbid they had contact with a stranger. They were trained to kill. They attacked a neighbor one day - they were those BAD pitbulls. Well, if they were trained to kill, what the h.ll would you expect. I think if you have dogs trained to be vicious, whatever the breed, you should have to be licensed and schooled on how to protect the public.
Oh I agree. My original post was sarcasm. I have been around pitbulls and never encountered a vicious one. And many times it is the owner’s failure to follow common sense safety rules that results in tragedy.
