Boy I sure do!!! He was the best President we had in my lifetime.

I was a teenager in those days. The media, and academia, etc &c &c, tried their best to portray him as something he wasn’t, so the historicity of somebody like him sorta flew over my head. Even so, watching his speeches could tell he had a lot of dedication and common sense, and he really should have ran for president in the 60s, that’s when he was really on his game, he gave a bazillion 2 minute speeches for some radio station somewhere, those are the series to look for. He tapped into the local mindset, as a businessman very well. “A nation of shopkeepers” /s
