There are some great ensemble actors and writers for 2 & 1/2 men - i.e. Holland Taylor, Jon Cryer and Angus Jones. They could kill off Charlie Sheen’s character together with all the sexual innuendo and still have a comedy worth watching.

After finding it in reruns - for the first time - a few months ago - I have certainly tired of the penis references. Cheap and tawdry!

Ya know, I just told my wife last night something very close to that.

I watched Big Bang Theory (TiVO!) on LATE Monday night, she watched it last night. Then, she asked hey! Wanna watch 2 and a half men, and I deferred, saying I was going to bed.

She asked why, and I hemmed and hawed, and finally told her I didn’t like the show, that it’s all fart jokes or big knockers, and frankly, it’s too juvenile for me. I like humor that is more ‘adult’ than that, not so puerile.

Then, I said (in a mocking tone), “Perhaps I’m just too cultured for such low-brow comedy”, laughed and went to bed.
