So, for the sake of financial hindsight, we should go back in time, and not invade or attack Afghanistan or Iraq. I cannot fathom a scenario where the US would not have done, what we have done in Afghanistan, even if Gore had been elected. Iraq is up for legitimate debate, but the fact remains that Saddam and his two sons were wiped off the face of the earth, and the potential they had for global destruction is not up for debate. We’ll never know what the equity side of the equation is, for eliminating those 3. But, I’d bet it was rather significant.
