Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night after suffering a massive hemorrhage near his brain stem, this according to People.com.
Michaels is reportedly in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital. According to the report, Michaels was suffering from excruciating headaches earlier in the day.
According to the report, Michaels underwent several tests -- including CAT Scans and MRIs.
The report claims it was determined Michaels suffered from a "subarachnoid hemorrhage" -- bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
Earlier this month, Michaels was rushed to the hospital after experiencing stomach pains -- he ended up having his appendix removed.

Wow! Hope he makes it.
Never was a big fan of their music, but they always seemed to be pretty good guys(I use the term “guy” generously lol).
Watching him on Celebrity Apprentice this year, he is truly a cool guy. Prayers.

Brett is a cool guy on TV. He was to perform here in Memphis in May.
Oh, that’s a shame. Prayers for his family.
In the Google listing....it has his birthday and date of death. I hope this isn’t true.
Prayers for Bret.
He seemed so worried in the last few episodes. About his daughter and maybe more.
You beat me.
Don’t trust it yet. Trolls love to do that all of the time. Sometimes its true, but many times it is not.
Very true. Disregard my previous post.
It’s been updated that he’s in critical condition on wiki.
God Bless Him...saw him on apprentice...i thought what a cool guy...loves his kids...seems to have an awesome heart for people...did not know him while in poison....but I would have a beer with him. Hope he does well. Peace be with Him.
Where?
From TMZ:
Bret Michaels doesn’t just need good medical attention to survive his current condition — he also needs luck.
According Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, people who don’t receive proper medical treatment after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage have a 20% to 30% chance of experiencing a second bleed within the first month — and the odds of surviving a second bleed are extremely slim.
Cedars states, “Recurrent bleeding has a 70% mortality rate.”
Fortunately, Michaels is reportedly being treated in a capable medical center.
However, it appears as though Michael’s is already beating the odds — Cedars reports that roughly 1/3 of people who have a subarachnoid hemorrhage die during the hemorrhage because of extensive brain damage. Obviously, Michaels has already cleared that hurdle.
As for Michaels treatment, Cedars warns, “Because of the ominous prognosis with delayed definitive therapy, referral to a center of excellence with experience in treating subarachnoid hemorrhage is imperative.”

If you Google his name....look at the Wiki link in the listing. It was on there.
Disregard it, tho. As someone posted earlier.....trolls are out in force.
How sad. I hope he is going to be ok.
Prayers for a seemingly nice guy :-(
And how would he fare under Obamacare with this condition?
Oh no. I hope he puls through ok.
He was in Raleigh a while back for a concert. Local rock DJ was commenting days later on the show/concert (multiple acts, etc.). He went on and on about what a nice guy this man was. Down to earth, easy to talk to, not hung on himself, not playing “rock star”, etc. etc. etc. He was really struck by that.
Sounds like my kind of guy. God bless him, may He restore his body completely, and show Himself mighty on his behalf. In Jesus’ name.
Poor guy. I was never into Poison, but from what I have read Michaels is a pretty decent guy. Also a Pennsylvania boy.
Damn. My wife was a huge fan of his “Rock of Love” shows on VH1 (and that pretty much means I was a fan as well).
Hoping he pulls through. He’s too young and has been enjoying something of a comeback in his career.
Shit, that really sucks. Brett is from Butler, PA - just north of Da Burgh.
Its not on there anymore, unless I’m missing it. Plus, don’t believe anything from Wiki, people can go there and post what they want
He just came from Baghdad singing for our soldiers in the 10th Mountain, and was also there in 2007.
I met him here in Hollywood 2 years ago. You’d think he was a prick but he blew everyone away with his “ah shucks” attitude.
Prayers for his health.
Pretty much sums it up for me too. . .
My wife died from an aneurysm at the base of her brain.
She was completely asymptomatic - she exercised regularly and we ate well and didn’t overdo things.
Doctor said the ONLY thing that might have found it before it happened was a very detailed cat scan.
I miss that woman. Always will till my time comes around.
Amen!!! I pray for healing and full recover. I pray he knows Jesus as well.
Poor guy, he has young kids, prayers he gets better.
Wow - I've been watching him on Celebrity Apprentice and didn't know he was from my neck of the woods. He seems like a really sweet guy. Prayers that he pulls through and for his little girls.
(((Hugs)))

I’m sorry to hear about your wife. I cannot imagine loosing my wife. I am always affected when I hear of someone having a brain aneurism. I am a brain aneurism survivor, by the healing hand of the Lord.
I never really followed him or Poison much. ( I do like Every Rose has it’s Thorn) I Didn’t know much about Bret personally but I caught Celebrity Apprentice this season and found him to an absolute sweetheart.
hmmm, my money was on sharon, holly or curtis
He was born in Butler, but grew up here in mechanicsburg, PA, where I live now. People here speak very fondly of him. He has a home here and loves it...his dad is still here.
I am so sorry. My cousin also died from an aneurysm. She was 48 ... the age I am now. She was the kind who put together all the reunions...now we don’t do them.
