I’m so sorry you have to deal w/this! I can tell you the VA is still a disaster regardless of what your niece thinks. Ask her how she thinks VA doctors feel about not being allowed to refer their patients to a specialist which they are desperately in need of. Or how those patients feel about the outcome. She fails to realize that life isn’t all about her or her boyfriend (who doesn’t seem to mind abusing the system!).
You have much more patience than I do. I’m afraid I would have already, “eaten her lunch”. My best to you in your efforts:)
I really care about my niece and thought she was more thoughtful. She turned left about 8 years ago, but, you can tell she’s gotten more and more extreme as time has gone by. I’ve seen a slight turn in recent days, she’s talking more and more about God of late. I want to keep communication open but, am really getting tired of this.
