I think the most obvious reason that somebody would throw out a story like this intentionally, if such did indeed happen, would be as nothing more than bait. More than likely, in that scenario, any allegation would be a fiction and the story would simply be a political trap. Overzealous Republicans would, hopefully, jump on it and in so doing chain themselves to a potentially sleazy looking and entirely baseless charge (since it would be fictional in the first place) and come out looking like a bunch of rabid moral paranoids. After all, the charges against Clinton were all absolutely true and the response from the right hurt the Republicans more than it did Clinton or the Democrats. Just think what an intentionally untrue story floated for Republicans to jump on could do to them?

A few things this could be....Rats need to put some distance between themselves and the health care scam they perpetrated...Rats are conniving as we speak slip Puerto Rico statehood through as quietly as possible....Rats are being forced to confront illegal immigration now because of Arizona's new law, an issue that has the capacity to wipe them out...just off the top of my head.

Sex scandals have yet to hurt a Rat politician (Edwards excepted), and why does this come out now when it happened years ago??? Why wouldn't this come out during the '08 campaign???
