Apple CEO Steve Jobs named to TIME Magazines 100 Most Influential list (with cover photo). Leaders: Sarah Palin, Manmohan Singh and other global movers and shakers Heroes: The inspiring feats of an urban farmer, an air-traffic controller in Haiti and icons like Bill Clinton Artists: Lady Gaga, Conan O'Brien and others who make us dance, giggle and retweet Thinkers: Steve Jobs plus scientists, statesmen and a Supreme Court Justice
I don’t know who most of the people on that list are.
Jobs certainly belongs, but “Lady Gaga”? Ashton Kutcher?
Wish she’d quit wearing those hooker shoes. (can’t be good for your feet, anyhow)
I use some Apple products, but I can’t think of any other company that has this dedicated liberal cult following like Apple.
It’s like the members of this cult fight for Apple. Kind of strange.

TIME Stands Still
TIME realized that they need conservative buyers too...
It’s not just liberals. I know die hard conservatives that eat up Apple’s crap.
Hell, El Rushbo does.
She looks way too short next to those guys if she doesn’t crank up the heels. Torture on her feet, I’m sure, but they’re otherwise pretty conservative shoes. (Black, clunky and closed-toe.)
The big hair gives her more volume too.
Why do I care what the liberals at Time think? Heck I’m surprised they are still in business.
You should post a warning...
Some of the stuff there will induce violent projectile vomiting.
Case in point...
Bono’s worshipful tribute to Bill Clinton the Hero.

The Future of TIME

Desperate to sell rags, er mags.
Do you really think the cover is a photo of the three people, taken together? It looks like a cut and paste.
Does anyone know Sarah’s true height? Thanks.
Time? As in Time Magazine? They’re still around? Who knew?
Apple is a bit too Big Brother for my liking. Google and Microsoft are just a liberal but they do lend themselves to an open system.
No, I don’t think anyone does. But I know she’s tiny-short and very petite. Usually when you’ve got a height disparity like that you arrange them so they are sitting or sitting and standing in such a way that the difference isn’t so obvious. Thus, I think the selected pose could have been a set up to make her appear how she works not to appear—which is small compared to average or tall men.

If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
Conservative Sarah Palin named to TIME Magazines 100 Most Influential list (cover photo includes poofter in jeans and unknown businessman)But that's just my take
Other cool covers:

Someone tweaked that Time cover pretty good

Which Andy Mitchell got and pushed in Palin's face at a book signing. Here she is bragging about it

In our annual TIME 100 issue we name the people who most affect our world
LEADERS
HEROES
ARTISTS
THINKERS
SOCIAL NETWORKING
TIME 100 ALUMNAE
That’s fine, as I also post on Sarah Palin threads... but ... she has some threads showing this already ... LOL ...
This particular one was about another name on that list... Steve Jobs... and I post on threads about each of these people — both Sarah Palin and Steve Jobs ... :-)
However, since you posted some fine pictures of Sarah Palin and she deserves another thread on this — I think you should post a new thread on Sarah Palin being on the list ... :-) ... we’ll get it to the Sarah Palin ping list, too, if you ping me ...
Thanks, I really needed to know that
but ... she has some threads showing this already
Well, I'm not going to ask to have my post removed because "she has some threads showing this already" (really? all those same pictures??) so if I overstepped your idea of what should or should not be posted, go ahead and push abuse
I post on threads about each of these people both Sarah Palin and Steve Jobs
Yea I know, I usually scroll past them
I was just saying that since it was such a good post that it deserves its own thread ... doncha know ... :-)

Hay sorry you couldn't get away for the Tea Party in Tulsa, I would have loved to have met you
Oh and ping you to a thread? LOL, not so much!
I sure was, whether you know it or not... I’m on a lot of those Sarah Palin threads and I’m on the ping list ... :-)

It looks almost like the iPhone (up above) but it just doesn't have the phone part. There's so much other stuff on the iPhone, besides the "phone part" -- it was worth it just having an iPod with all the other stuff on it ... :-)
Well, you were going to come by and say hello!
You got shy?
I don’t have any ping lists, and am on only one

There are a bunch of FReepers who have gotten this and are overjoyed at how well it works ... and are extremely happy with it... :-)
Well, you were going to come by and say hello!
You got shy?
You'll remember that thread where you were asking about the weather in Tulsa, and I posted the weather and rain forecast.
Also, you'll remember that I said that I wasn't risking the "wrath of woman" -- since she already had some things worked out for the day... :-)
Go back and look at the thread ... LOL ... [if you don't have the thread, I'll go back and look it up for you ... :-) ...]
I dont have any ping lists, and am on only one
Well..., you need to, at least, sign up on the Ssrah Palin ping list... as we've got a good group here... (that's the one I was talking about that I'm on ...)...
Contact by FReepmail -- Virginia Ridgerunner -- to get on the Sarah Palin ping list ... :-)
Thanks mostly to the iPhone, Apple's cash and investments rose to about $42 billion as of March 31, nearly three-quarters of the tech company's total assets. In six months' time that figure could approach $50 billion, given Barclays Capital analyst Ben Reitzes's estimate that Apple will generate $14.6 billion in free cash flow this fiscal year.
As a banker, though, Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs is no Jamie Dimon. Invested heavily in government and corporate securities and commercial paper, based on past disclosures, the money earned an average yield of 0.75% in the December quarter. Apple hasn't disclosed the March-quarter yield.

The guts of the computer is all behind the screen and note, "no wires" ... :-)
From what Apple reports in sales at their Apple Retail Stores (their own stores), they show that about 50% of the sales of Macintosh computers are to Windows users -- who are obviously getting tired of the over 100,000 viruses attacking the Windows platform.
Heck! Macintosh users don't even bother with any anti-virus software because there are no viruses out there and in the wild that infect and spread among Macintosh computers (because of the Mac OS X software).
Why? Jobs is a left wing liberal.
The left built her up in our minds by relentlessly attacking her, they can only blame themselves for her rise.
1million units sold in half the time of the iPhone.
Why? Jobs is a left wing liberal.
And the company he heads, Apple, designs, makes and sells products that right-wing conservatives buy ... doncha know ... and especially so right here on Free Republic ... :-)

More power to em.
Did Joe The Plumber make it?
Yes I remember you saying that. You'll remember that thread where you were asking about the weather in Tulsa, and I posted the weather and rain forecast.
Also, you'll remember that I said that I wasn't risking the "wrath of woman"
The men I know aren't intimidated by a woman that displays "wrath" to get her way.
So I expected you may have showed up.
But I obviously I don't know you.
Go back and look at the thread ... LOL ... [if you don't have the thread, I'll go back and look it up for you ... :-) ...]
Like most people here, I don't need you to find anything for me.
Here is the thread. So go ahead and point out the comment you say you made to me on it.
Tea Party Express Comes to Tulsa - Friday

To Syncro | 04/02/2010 7:35:45 AM PDT sentOkay, thanks for writing... I have to see if I can break away I just saw this today and Ive already got commitments, but I can see if I can...
It has to do with the woman of the house, and I cant afford the wrath of woman doncha know ... :-)
Not that we need Time to name the 100 most influential — number one on the list should be the King of Saudi Arabia, and number two should probably be left blank, because no one is very close in influence — but what the hell took the idiot editors so freakin’ long? The Mac, the iPod, the iPhone, iTunes/store, what does Jobs have to do, produce his birth certificate (he’s adopted, he probably knows from where) and get elected President? ;’)
Like most people here, I don't need you to find anything for me.
You'll find that you can't locate an entire series of threads on Free Republic about the subject of Sarah Palin's hacked e-mail account and the hacker through a search using the Free Republic search engine ... which is why I included the list of threads at Post #23 in your thread that you just put up.
You'll notice that someone else missed a key detail in a previous thread, because they didn't see the details from all the posts on Free Republic.
You can't do a search (on the Free Republic search engine) and come up with all those Sarah Palin e-mail hacker threads and the trial and the verdict that just came out. It can't be done with any reliability.
BUT, with a list of all the threads that have been posted on it, recently, you can see every last single thing that has been posted here about it. So, for other FReepers that does make a difference.
I also just "keyed in" a keyword in order to keep track of them, too... and I listed that on your thread, too...
