A note that has been buried...Faisal and family spoke little English and most of the time wore Muslim duds. So that western clothes photo is kind of like "brain washing".
I'm not sure if they're actually considered "white", but many of them are lighter than me (and I'm definitely white).
Therefore, profiling young Muslim men may very well be considered profiling whites.

That being said, I never have liked Savage, but I agree with him on this issue. This white redneck Grandma is tired of being portrayed as a possible suspect and being persecuted by the media without cause, while the same media refuses to mention Muslim and terrorist in the same sentence, even when it is a fact of the matter such as this case.
In the United States, the term Caucasian is mainly used to describe white Americans, as defined by the government and Census Bureau .
Do you think of a middle Easterner when you read a police report which describes a suspect as as “ white male “ ? I don’t .

Savage really grated on me at first, but I've really grown to appreciate him over the past few years.
Stopped Clock
I think Savage has gone off the deep end. Scanning the stations, everyone else sounded so normal. Stopping on Savage's vitriolic rant, I realized he is really off his rocker. He takes angry to a whole nother level. The last person I knew who was so ANGRY, it turned out he had a brain tumor, and died. I can understand why people call it hate radio; when you hear that amount of vitriol spewing, it can be heard as nothing other than hate. Even if what he was ranting about was true (it was), the anger is just too much.
SO-o-o-o What will it take to get You angry?
Savage is only doing what the ‘weak kneed’ Repubs and so called Conservatives Should have been doing .. long ago!
It is Time that ALL of us started Yelling at the Top of our lungs that .. “WE ARE MAD AS HELL .. AND AREN’T GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!”

I’m already angry. But Savage’s anger is 10x more vitriolic than mine.
Technically speaking, there are four human races. Caucasian includes most of Western and Eastern Europe, the Indian subcontinent, Turkey, and much of the Middle East and North Africa. Black, which are the people of Africa south of the North African countries. Asian, the people of China, Japan, Philippines, assorted other countries near Chine, and the Native Americans. Last, the aborigines of Australia used to be considered Caucasian, but further analysis revealed that they do not actually belong to any of the other three races, and so are a race in their own right.
Subgroups of the major races do tend to have certain similarities—many Indians are as dark as blacks, but still are Caucasian, for instance—so describing people according to their apparent geographical origin (e.g. Middle Eastern) can be very valuable information for identification purposes.
