However, regarding Challenger, I’ll bet there aren’t 10 souls living who know the real story on the deadly SRB mods.

People talk in hushed tones to trusted colleagues about such things.

At any rate, believe what you like. I only wanted to impart a bit of gray-haired wisdom to my fellow Freepers. There’s nothing in this for me except the satisfaction of printing the truth.

My 30 years in government and aerospace educated me to always be extremely skeptical and cynical. If the MSM prints the truth, it’s BY ACCIDENT!
