I think that the "time" of productions like the Miss America pageant is long passed. It's time to hang it up and quit playing this "game" with female flesh and proving that a woman with beauty and brains is probably not going to win the "game" anyway. She might win a political office, however.

That she is allowed to compete in a beauty contest is the part that's got me stumped.

Lebanon has had a Miss Lebanon Pagent since 1950 and has sent its winner to compete in Miss Universe and others.

The author of those bizarre links would have us believe that this is all just part of a grand ruse that the Lebanese have been working on since 1950.
