Tiger is averaging about 295 yards while Phil is at 320 to 325 and 20-year old Rory McIllroy hit a 353 yard drive at Quail Ridge. Once pimp daddy sees lot of people outdriving him then his confidence will sink even lower.

Most golf fans or at leats Tiger fan boys are trying to blame all of his problems on Hank Haney. Tiger burned his bridge with his old coach Butch Harmon.
There are too many good and disciplined young players now. Unless he gets back on the PEDs - performance enhqancing drugs - he is another Jason Giambi. I would bet the PGA will look the other way like major league baseball did with Barry Bonds.

Phil is 40 and Tiger is 34. Phil started working more on fitness last year and this year he is even fitter.
I think the Tiger “injuries” may be BS. I am not convinced the bad kneee was really bad. A week after he stopped playing to get the knee worked on - the PGA started testing for steroids and other PEDs. He either knew it was coming and took time off to get off the juice or the PGA in private told him he had to stop.
I don’t beleive Tiger had a neck injury last week. I think he just didn’t want to play given how badly he was performing. It’s part of a pattern.

I did watch the last tourney of 2009 the WGC at Shanghai in China. It was fascinating. Phil was great with the fans, they loved him, all smiles, etc. Tiger was sullen and bitched about camera shutters because they were all taking pictures. I would think digital cameras would be silent???
The course in China was tricky because the greens were small and the ball could roll off on some of them pretty easily.
The priceless part was sullen Tiger hit two balls in the water within the last three holes of the tourney. This is unheard of. A player usually might hit one ball in the water in a four round tourney of 72 holes.
The Chinese loved Phil. I think the thing that bugs me besides, the serial cheating, fake image, lying to his wife (supposedly even used the adultere “you are crazy” line on Elin) - it is the fans.
His golfer fans on golf message boards like golfwrx.com are the biggest losers. These Tiger fan boys have this obsession and it is never Tiger’s fault. They are just like Obama voters.
If he were white and a creep like this then I would loathe him just as much. If Phil ever pulled cr*p like this - the PGA would say “don’t come back.”

Adams seems quite intent on letting you know that a portion of the proceeds from his “not-so-nice” observations of his famous neighbor will go to charities (Adams’ father suffers from a rare form of dementia, and Adams claims to have profits earmarked for dementia and Alzheimer’s support).
A man whose parents landed in the news after Tiger Woods crashed in their yard has decided to talk about what it’s like living in Isleworth next to the pro golfer - and he doesn’t have many nice things to say.
But if you want to hear what Jerome “Jay” Adams Jr. has to tell, be prepared to pay.
For $3.99, you can hear a disgruntled Adams talk for nearly 14 minutes about how Woods once snubbed him, mocked his mother and had tall hedges planted for privacy.
“He’s a jerk,” Adams states on the video, posted at behindthegates.com.
On Thursday, Adams, 33, alerted media to his web site and the pay-per-view video. He advertises that people can “learn the truth” about Woods from his next-door neighbor.
“He’s not real. He’s not true,” Adams said in a video clip. “The person that you know is just a crafted image.”
A second video is to come at an undetermined date, Adams states, which will provide his “eyewitness” account of the Nov. 27 “accident scene.”
Adams incorporated Behind The Gates LLC, a company with the same name as his web site, in March. Moore said Adams is a self-employed business consultant. When he was arrested on a Leon County warrant in Seminole County last year, Adams stated he was employed by a timeshare company.
He claims that a portion of the proceeds from every video download - and you can only watch the video once per purchase - will go toward organizations providing care to people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Adams’ Sanford home is in foreclosure.

This tightly scripted by his handlers “relaunch” was a massive failure. A lot of fans at the tourneys were giving him the thumbs down because they would get thrown out if they said anything.
I guess it is back to the drawing board for relaunch #2. The US Open is coming up and also this summer The British Open aka The Open.
The Open should be great this year. Phil will be there if his wife is okay. 17 year old Matteo (Italy), 18 year old Ryo (Japan) and 20 year old Rory (N Ireland) plus other greats. These kids are something else.

Some say they won’t watch if Tiger isn’t playing. I enjoy it more. The kids vs Phil and the other oldies should be well worth watching and it won’t be the Tiger Woods Show.
The incident woke up his neighbour Dr Jerome Adams. Adams’s wife Linda and his grown-up sons, Jarius and Jerome junior, found Woods outside on the ground, semi- conscious, and covered him with a blanket.
Elin, according to Jarius, was nearby ‘freaking out’.
Woods’s lip had been split open and there was blood in his mouth.
Jarius Adams called the emergency services. In the background Woods’s mother could be heard shouting, ‘What’s happened?’

I keep up with Phil on his website. I saw that he was in China a while back but didn't see him play. He is a class act and I'm proud to say he represents us here in San Diego.
I met a guy once who’s sister lives on Phil’s street in So Cal. Her husband is a wealthy guy in the insurance business. This fellow said Phil is a great guy who is always with the kids and his wife.
Conversely, Tiger said he thought his celebrity entitled him to be a philanderer. What a no-class jerk.
People that watch only for Tiger don’t play golf, never will, and have no interest in the game itself. As soon as Tiger isn’t there any more, neither will they be.

I've been playing since the early 70s when I was on my high school's golf team. I was also on my high school surfing team. You could say I had diverse interests.

The golf rankings are based on a point system that is plugged into and spewed out of a computer. It has nothing to do with what any one or group of individuals may think. It’s insane to call it a “travesty” just because it doesn’t give you the results that YOU want.
Having said that, Tiger is STILL the best golfer on the tour, and even Phil Mickelson would say that. Believe me, I’m not a Tiger Woods fan — he’s a horrendous human being — but as a long-time golfer and a longer-time golfing fan, there is no doubt in my mind that he’s not only the best golfer of his era, but the best golfer of ALL-TIME.
Wow, guess you never heard of some of the other guys that played the game, like Hogan, Jones, Palmer, Nicklaus, Player, and others. Besides your penchant for hyperbole, what is your handicap?
In my opinion, Bobby Jones was the greatest golfer of all time. I’m kind of biased in that regard because of what he did OUTSIDE of golf. He retired at the age of 28, got a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech, got a degree in literature from Harvard, and then went on to pursue a successful law career after that.

Golf is not the NBA, NFL or MLB. Golf frowns upon players who are serial adulterers who are potentially spreading AIDS and STDs to his wife. Players also do not throw clubs and swear. If this were Mickelson, Ernie, Daly or another player - the PGA would tell them not to come back. They would also be testing him for PEDs.
