ProFootballTalk has an article up about Tiger’s Canadian doctor involved with many NFL players:
A Canadian doctor has been charged with unlawfully treating NFL players with unapproved drugs including human growth hormone, the Associated Press is reporting.
Dr. Anthony Galea was named today in a federal criminal complaint filed in Buffalo. The complaint says Galea’s clients included at least three NFL players, but it does not name the players.
The New York Times reported in December that Galea had treated Javon Walker and Chris Simms, and Jamal Lewis has also been linked to Galea. There’s no evidence linking Lewis, Walker or Simms to any wrongdoing.
Galea has also treated baseball players and golfers, including Tiger Woods. But the charges filed today pertain to his relationships with NFL players.
Per the Associated Press, Galea is charged with lying to federal officials, smuggling, unlawful distribution of HGH, introducing the unapproved drug actovegin into interstate commerce and conspiracy to defraud the United States.
I’m convinced Tiger is the only athelete in the world who did not visit this doctor for PEDs.
