I am a 5’7 male, 32 yrs old, and I weigh considerably north of 200 lbs.
The “charts” say I should weigh around 140, but I’d look like an anorexic at that weight...I weighed 175 in college and looked pretty good IMHO.
Yes, I need to lose weight, but I don’t need to lose the ~100 pounds that the charts (and my Wii Fit) says I should.
WiiFit did not involve chalk or iron, so it was not a good match for me.
I wear 33 pants, 50 jacket. If they get tight, I loose weight.
Being a Hooters girl, or anything similar is tough. You are paid to look good.
Mrs. TTR paid for school being a cheerleader for a professional team. They worked at like MAD, ate well, and still had to pull out the T3 (thyroid drug) and Albuterol (asthma medicine that is a Beta Antagonist and makes you selectively lose fat) to make body fat % required for public viewing.
If losing the weight isn't the way that you want to go, you might also consider simply growing 5 or 6 inches to fit their scale.
Do I need s/?
i just started working with a personal trainer, and she says that they no longer use those BMI charts... they go by percentage of body fat... those charts are misleading...
