Chemicalphobic nonsense. BPA has been used for more than 50 years now and prevents food spoilage that can lead to bacterial infection - especially the risk of of botulism. Any BPA that may migrate from these products only does so in very small doses has not been shown to cause ill effects in humans. The fact that you are able to detect a substance does not make it a hazard. The benefits of using BPA far outweigh any risks
