Make sure you re-register to vote.

I dunno. Sounds to me like it would be a monumental effort to take the voter rolls and compare them with this year’s census. I also don’t think it sounds like something legal. Of course, given the corrupt administration we have in Washington and the spendthrift politicians we have locally, nothing would surprise me.

Although I don’t trust the gov. to honor their own laws, the census info is not supposed to be leaked to any other agency, only the aggregate data. I don’t see it going to the local registrar of voters or even the sec. of state, at least not under the present circumstances.

Even if they wanted to, it would be a nightmare to match up those databases.

There is no possible truth to this rumor.

Voter registration is entirely a function of the state department of the state in which you register. There are federal qualifications for which you state may deny you the right to vote: federal felony conviction, refusal to register for Selective Service, etc. But most states do not allow purging rolls of voters who've voted in recent elections who are otherwise qualified.

But think about the practical side of this if you would.

First, it's not clear that the biggest demographic that would fail to meet minimum requirements of the Census would be conservatives, libertarians, or any of the other groups one might classify as "good guys."

Second, the Census data will not be compiled in time to disrupt registrations that must be done to qualify for November.

This is what the official census website says in its FAQ section:

32. Is information shared with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Internal Revenue Service, courts or the police?

No, individual census records are not shared with anyone, including government agencies or private organizations. It is against the law for the Census Bureau to give personally identifiable information about an individual to any other individual or agency until 72 years after it is collected for the decennial census. After 72 years, the individual census records are sent to the National Archives where they are made public primarily for genealogical research.
33.

I could see this happening someday. But not this year.

I work the “Voter Registration” table during elections. Even trying to purge the “un-censused” voters would be a nightmare. It’s enough hassle when somebody just moves!

This is important info that MUST be addressed by our representative in Congress! Anything less means Commies have taken total control!

Why is it we haven’t had a census in years, and then when Obama gets in he decides to have a census? It sure looks suspicious to me.

This is just some BS you inadvertently picked up. Not a condemnation of you certainly. If I didn’t fill it out, how would they know where I lived? Such a scheme just wouldn’t work out. People move around.

We have voter registration to register voters. The Census is for other purposes. Just don’t believe everything your hear.

Our Secretary of State spoke at a meeting I attended last evening, if this were true he would have said something about it.

If you don’t mind, you should take a little time to e-blast this to all the conservative web sites (Michelle Malkin, Big Government, PJmedia, etc. as a news tip. We need this investigated and advertised and opposed. If you feel comfortable enough with the information, notify Steele and the senate and house leaders and your representatives. Also tell Michelle Bauchmann, please.

I would appreciate you doing that since you heard the conservation.

I know in my MA town that we get ‘town census’ forms (don’t quote me- I think ‘Yearly’-’Every other year?). There is a line on them that if you don’t fill them out you will get dropped in voter registration.

This is the form that asks about your pets (so they can get the pet-tag-tax) and other ‘town important’ questions.

What I overheard is that among the penalties for those who are engaging in the peaceful protest of not filling out their Census forms, or incompletely filling them out, is that the individuals will be removed from the voter registration roles in their towns, and not be informed of thisunless the inquire directly, or until they go in to vote and are denied a ballot.

Wouldn't this be a direct violation of the non-disclosure requirement by Census personnel that forbids them to disclose who said (or didn't say) what on their census forms?
