The University of Southern California football and basketball programs will learn whether they are guilty of NCAA violations on Friday, according to a report on ESPN.com.
The NCAA infractions committee plans to release its findings following an investigation and February hearing in which USC officials, including former basketball coach Tim Floyd and current football coach Lane Kiffin, responded to allegations of impropriety.

forfeit wins from Bushs years there (2003-05), during which time the team won a national championship. Bush could also lose the Heisman Trophy he won in 2005. This is going to be interesting

.......whether they are guilty of NCAA violations...... I think there is no question USC is guilty of violations. The only question is if the NCAA will say so, and what any penalties might be.

Bush is in the NFL making millions and Pete Carroll bailed as well.
The kids playing there today are the ones paying the bill for something that they had no part in.

I thought this was supposed to come out a couple of months ago. Better late than never.

They're guilty. Can't help but think that's why Pete Carroll bailed on them.
question is if the NCAA will say so
THAT is the million dollar question

If this happens, we will find out what Lane Kiffen really amounts to as a head coach. I highly doubt he is worth $4million a year.
Go Vols! Good riddance Kiffen.

It was. Could it be the kiss of death for them?. After the Texas/USC championship game, the Ting twins(USC)tested positive for ‘roids.

I hate USC, but kind of funny for a Washington fan to rip on USC for cheating. LOL

If we’ve entered the era of Retroactive Championships, I hope some reporters start digging at Texas and SEC teams. They will find plenty of dirt. Then their Championships can be taken from them and the NCAA embarrassed.
College football is the most corrupt sport around, but it is selectively so.

If they dont get HAMMERED then it will mean free license to cheat for every school.

If weve entered the era of Retroactive Championships Apparently so, but the bigger question is what happens to the Heisman IF the NCAA takes it away from Reggie?

The Huskies have indeed sinned in the past, but we gave Rick Neuwiesel to UCLA so everyone has forgiven us.

forfeit wins from Bushs years there (2003-05), during which time the team won a national championship. IIRC, they invited OJ Simpson to their practice sessions before that championship.

Yeah, if it was SMU or UNLV or another school that wasn't a cash cow for the NCAA, they'd have been smacked, whacked and defrocked a couple of years ago. I'm expecting the NCAA to use the Annie Hall theory of discovery:
Well lah-de-dah.

but the bigger question is what happens to the Heisman IF the NCAA takes it away from Reggie? Vince Young will become the 2005 Heisman Trophy winner as he was the second place vote getter.
If they do strip USC of their Wins Oklahoma will become the 2004 BCS Champion.
The wildcard is 2003. LSU won the BCS championship, but USC won the AP #1 after beating Michigan in the Rose Bowl. Bush was a red-shirt Freshman that season, so I doubt they will take any wins from 2003 away, but if they do it could make LSU undisputed National Champs that season.

The NCAA has lost just about every lawsuit filed against them regarding penalties. Going to be pretty hard to get USC based on what happened years ago and no “direct knowledge” by Carroll or his staff.
USC alums have lots of money and they will spend it if there is anything more than a slap on the wrist. If the penalties are harsh, USC alums will hire private investigators to look into several high profile programs for violations which likely would be just as egregious as their own.
