Yeah, I noticed that too... It will be very interesting to see how this movie was remade. The fact that the ChiComs are upset about it makes me want to see it now, when I was happy with my DVD copy of the original all this time...
They also filmed a portion of the movie in down-town Detroit. In one of the climactic scenes, they blew up a large building down there.
It caused 3 million dollars in improvement.
