Just a watch so far, not a warning, for all of NH, VT, MA, eastern NY, and western ME. We don't get many tornadoes up here.

Prayer said for all up there. (We get our fair share of tornadoes down here in northern Alabama.)

I could never figure out in tornado videos taken in Kansas etc. where the traffic on highways just keep on going like nothing unusual.
Are they that used to it that they know which way the tornado is going?

I didn't think so. I lived in VT for three years and no one ever mentioned tornadoes. I recall some pretty wicked wind and thunderstorms though.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled. If I see a twister, i’ll report it to Whitehouse.gov on the double.

Just saw this one my phone at Hampton Beach...and I thought I’d seen the last of these things after moving up here from Maryland.

Rest assured that the President will be on top of the situation from day one :)

Yes, I was surprised at the forecast, given what the radar shows. Not sure how they issue a watch when there aren’t big t-storm cells/lines. Maybe based on computer models?

I've lived in New England all my life and the only tornado I've ever heard of is a big one that happened in central Massachusetts in the mid 1950’s.

My sister is a forecaster with the national weather service and I’m trying to get a hold of her for some insight.

I blame this on my husband. Whenever he’s away, bad weather arrives.

We had an F2 on the ground for 40 miles, on a S-N track in 2008.

It was amazing how it took the forest like a vacuum cleaner.
Passed 1/2 mile from my house.
