This was posted on ar15.com with the link provided. I cannot guarantee the accuracy of this which is why I am posting here asking for help to see if this transcript is accurate and legitimate.

If it is real, we need to do something about this. What, I have no idea... But this reeks of corruption.

I am not accustomed to reading this type of transcript of an amendment to an amendment to an amendment. Please explain exactly what the fuss is all about.

This looks like a rollcall vote from the early to mid 1980’s on banning certain types of guns/weapons.

We need the Date of the Congressional Record, the full range of page numbers, and the fact that it was part of the transcript of the House’s daily proceedings.

Notice the names of Boland, Akaka, etc. as members of the HOUSE. AKAKA later became a senator, much to our sorrow.

According to Thomas, Amendment 777 to H.R. 4332 passed on 10 APR 86 by a voice vote. The other two amendments from Hughes failed in recorded votes.

That was some dirty dealing.
