USC officials would not confirm that the school had received the NCAA's report. Asked if USC had heard from the NCAA, Athletic Director Mike Garrett said: "We are looking at things right now. That's about all I can say."

USC spokesmen said the university would address the situation when the NCAA makes the report public.

Changes the dynamic some. Wonder how it will affect the PAC 10 expansion?

I read a report on the conference shake-up and it seems that Cal-Berkeley has issues with Baylor being asked to join the Pac-10 because Baylor is a religion based school

Then let Cal-Berkeley play in the same division as the universities of iran, saudi arabia and north korea. they’ll feel more at home.

If the big 12 split happens as I fear it will, that would be one of the few bright spots.

Baylor? I thought it was going to be Texas and Colorado joining the Pac 10? Which is goofy if you ask me.

The NCAA had to hammer them. If they had not then college football would was turned into a nationwide version of the old Southwest Conference.

Colorado has been asked to join the Pac-10 officially. Texas law makers wanted Baylor

Golden Boy Pete Carroll bugged out just in time and left USC holding the bag. Lane Kiffin was dumb enough to go back. Normally a new head coach would be entitled to some sympathy for having to clean up the mess, but since Kiffin was on Carroll’s staff through most of those years he’s not going to get much sympathy.

Looks like the Sooners will be named the 2004 National Champions and Reggie Bush forfeit his Heisman

Cheaty Petey knew what was going on. He allowed these sports reps into the locker room AND the side lines

Don't think so. Not the way that game went for us; we don't even like to talk about it. One of the all-time heartbreakers and certainly not a championship performance on our part or even close to it.

Give it to Auburn instead...

Spring 2005:

Sources say New Era Sports pays Bush almost $13,000 to buy a pristine black-on-black 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS in Los Angeles. Sources say the car is subsequently outfitted with chrome rims and a stereo.
