True story.
Census Worker showed up at our door. We sent in a form. Told her that. She said she wasn’t here for information about us...she wanted infomation on the people across the street. The door has never been slammed harder.
Screw these morons.
My true story:
The THIRD time they came to the door, I answered the door with a 12 gauge shot gun in hand and told them that I answered the required questions and they better leave me alone.
They never came back.
This very thing happened to us.
At the risk of repeating what I’ve said on similar threads, I too have been hounded to death after turning in my fully completed form as soon as I got it.
What is the deal? Why is this happening to everyone?
I would not cooperate with a second counting. I explained to about three different supervisors, who simply would not accept the fact that I had already responded.
They’ll believe whatever I tell them about the number of toilets, my income, my nationality - but they won’t believe I turned a form in already. Months ago as a matter of fact.
Don’t mess in meanness.
Just tell her you sent the form in and won’t double count and mess up the census. Repeat as many times as is necessary. If they won’t stop invading your property, call the police.
