We don’t buy ANY food product from China. We read EVERY label on food we purchase. If I can’t find something not made in China we do without or substitute.

Buying American is one of the resons I prefer Meijer stores over Walmart. The prices are competitive and the have a buy local/sell local policy for food.
Obviously they can’t buy local year round on all things but they make an attempt.

We dont buy ANY food product from China.
Meat, including chicken, is not marked by 'Origin'...so you don't have any idea where it came from. Fish and vegetables do have country of origin specified.
If you by any processed foods, some of the ingredients may have come from China...even staples like oatmeal and flour are not marked. Like you, I try to avoid food from China...but it is impossible to know if I am totally successful.

I’m with you. I bought some cooking spray and after I got it home happened to look at the label - China. It would never have occurred to me that cooking spray would come from China! So now I check everything that’s an off-brand.
