Every major enemy of the Time Lord will make an appearance in the finale of this series of Doctor Who. In a terrifying two part programme - entitled The Pandorica Opens - the Doctor will be confronted by many of his old foes. The Daleks, Cybermen, Silurians, Judoon, Sontarans, Sycorax, Weevils and Autons, will all feature in the final show.

No in british TV, each “season” is called a “series”. So this is “series 5”.
Their series are shorter than our seasons as well, and don’t always work on yearly boundaries.

I agree. Blink was a classic, in part because of the time-travel part of the story. This latest one was borderline neh because they were just hanging around in the cave for so long. I am liking the new Doctor, though.
