I am trying to stop the attacks. Nothing more. Nothing less. It has nothing to do with my ego.

This is hurting Governor Palin. she needs to know that.

Of course, you have to know that Palin isn’t reading FR, and is certainly not going to read your vanity post that you pretend is addressed to her.

Your vanity post is therefore not an attempt to convince Palin to change in a way that would “stop the attacks”, but is instead an argument with fellow freepers about what Palin would have to do in your opinion to stop the attacks.

If you wanted to “stop the attacks” on FR, you’d instead post a vanity arguing that, since Palin won’t change her position, fellow freepers should just stop attacking her for it.

To 7 - It's not hurting her in the least. The majority of voters across the country, AZ excluded, aren't even aware that she endorsed McCain. 98% of those on the Right will vote for her if she's the GOP nominee.
Her popularity, across the demographics of registered Republicans, (sane)Democrats and Indies continues to climb. If she seeks the nomination no other Republican will approach near her.
