You aren't getting it--he should have given the operator the number of the phone he is calling from.

Maybe I'm confused...I thought part of the point of the OnStar service was that you can speak to someone by pushing the OnStar button in your car. They can remotely unlock the car. How do you know he was calling from a telephone?

O.K.

If you are inside your car, which you would have to be in order to push the OnStar button, why would you need to have them remotely unlock the car????

It reminds me of a joke: Did you hear about the moron that locked his keys in the car? He had to break the window to get out.

I might be the one that’s confused. I thought that you can’t access OnStar from outside your own vehicle (where is the OnStar button?).
