During the campaign, Barack Obama promised to bankrupt any new coal-burning plants in the US through his global-warming policies. Congress has followed suit with a cap-and-trade bill that Harry Reid keeps promising to revive. One firm in Wisconsin shows exactly what happens when politicians intervene to attempt to conduct social engineering in the energy sector. People still don't get it that the majority of our electric still comes from coal....and the need is growing.
These windmills and solar gigs should serve the ADDED NEEDS of an evergrowing population. It'll never eliminate the so called archaic system.

The day he promised to close the mines, the United Mine Workers of America’s homepage was singing his praises and supporting him in the campaign. Reap what you sow.

Senator Feingold is in a panic (and a deadheat race against a newly minted GOP challenger).
Senator Kohl came out of hiding (he hasn’t been seen in Milwaukee in years).
And even “retiring” Governor Doyle came out in shock after finding that his “green jobs” efforts were working a little too well in eliminating “coal jobs.”
