The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade was started by Portugal in the 1500’s. But before they got around to that, they had their own Auto-De-Fey where 5,000 Jews were massacred in Lisbon and the rest were told to convert or leave. Doesn’t sound like the Jews had time to get in on the Slave Trade.
