In post 36 I outlined some of my thoughts on Gibson. While Hollywood provided the temptation, I think most of the demons were in Mel all along.

It is possible you are right, but it is also likely that those are typical themes for good movies. I am loathe to psychoanaylse someone I’ve never met.
