I’ll never understand the ‘guy likes women who don’t like guys’ thing, even if lipstick is involved.
I'm not a fan of Paul Reiser, but one night I flipped on the tube JUST as he and his wife on Mad About You were discussing this topic, and he said it perfectly.
"Because it's naked and fun and I agree with both of them."
A woman a friend was trying to set me up with (it didn't go well) got this disgusted look on her face when this topic came up (I didn't bring it up, my female friend did). The blind date said. "Why do you think that's cool? A lesbian's not going to WANT you!" and i said, "Well, Brad Pitt doesn't want you, but you think about him anyway, don't you?"
My friend burst out laughing, both of them agreed i had a point, and my friend never attempted to set me up again.
