I am on Mel’s side on this. I think he got himself caught up in this ill-advised relationship. He finally saw the woman for what she is, and realized her type is an embarrassment for him. His language was out of anger and disgust.
She is the mother of his child and she dresses and acts trampy. Cannot blame him, but she was his choice and he must now suffer as he tries to get rid of her. The baby certainly complicates things. And, I don’t blame him for being angry about the breast implants and nursing her baby. But, couldn’t he tell they were fake during the courtship?
