And last Friday, WME board member Ari Emanuel "woke up at 3 AM and emailed his partner Patrick Whitesell that 'we can't represent a guy who said the N-word'." So the agency dumped Mel Gibson on July 2nd, and the next day, on July 3rd, his agent Limato died.

I'm not excusing Mel's behavior. But spare me the moral outrage WME, you filthy whores.
What about the racial slurs the New Black Panthers were publicly yelling at whites, racial attacks this Administration is supporting?
As a Jew, I had to laugh when I read this. His anti-semetic rant didn’t throw them over the edge. His purported spousal abuse didn’t do it...what gets these Hollywood liberal Jews all hot and crazy??? THE N WORD. The word that’s used in almost all the popular movies and rap these days. I have to pray for Hollywood Jews..they know not what they do.
Ari is also Rahm’s brother. Tell you a lot about the type of family.
-- Orwell.
Uttering a racial slur: damned in the currrent sick, racist culture of ONE WAY political correctness as the unspeakably worst thing ever.
Openly advocating the murder of white infants: tacitly supported by an American Presidential Administration.
Ratcheting closer to American Civil War II.....
Incredibly enough, Mel still has an active career going.
Mel was cursing out his manipulative “girlfriend” who seduced him and ruined his family. Now she is planning to ruin his life with this tape.
Both need our prayers.
hehehehehehehehe! If WME start dumping people because of words uttered in private conversations, they will have no clients. That is if they plan to be consistent. What hypocrits!
Love the quote!
I did not know that! That tells me all I ever need to know about Ari...
The speech and thought police need get a new life, or dry up and blow away.
The blacks get to use every racist word in the book for themselves and us whites, but Oo, let a white use the “N” word and we might as well be stoned to death.
We can not even use “negro” anymore. We have to call them “African American”, a term that I will never use.
Actually, when THE PASSION came out, they did not know what to do with themselves about Mel’s politics/religion becuz there was a particularly revealing article about Mel’s father’s antiSemitism that had everyone in Hollywood seething. Hollywood at large really hated it that the film made so much money; it seemed like an anti Semitic screed. All told, Mel did pick a strangely metaphysical Catholic screenwriter for THE PASSION, he had done a similarly creepy job on a John Huston’s WISE BLOOD.
If he REALLY wanted to insult someone he should have called them “Hollywood WME types”...
If all our conversations that we thought were private were all made public, I think we’d all be screwed.
Amen!
Very true. Nonetheless, it's been difficult to stick up for Mel these last couple of years. He seems to have really gone off the deep end. It's a shame. I rented Edge of Darkness from a redbox the other night and it was just an outstanding film! One of Gibson's best performances! It was great to see him in front of the camera again and in top form.
Unfortunately, Mel's personal life has overshadowed the fact that he's still a first-rate talent who has made and continues to make some incredible films. I believe this is going to hurt him in the box office, causing excellent movies like this one to disappear under the shadow of his increasingly erratic behavior.
His problem is that he's been avoiding medical care for years and sticking to the tried and true self-medication of strong drink!
No sane person holds anyone who's bipolar accountable for cussing ~

I do not care anymore, bring the N word back and what the hell is that anyway???
