In Firefox, it is possible to turn off the display of this icon in the address bar, at least. Not sure about the bookmark list, and I have no idea if that’s possible in IE.

I suspect hacker involvement with the swastika icon appearing in place of the normal FR star icon, it may be something that was picked up from a moonbat site (since they hate FR).

Actually, I like having those little icons in the bookmark list, it makes it easier to find the ones I want.

Glad this thread, and your comment, caught my eye. I had never even noticed this feature. Just looked in my favorites and noticed the little symbols next to a few favs that my wife has saved. A Betty Crocker recipe showed a red spoon, and a pet rescue site showed a little paw print. Kinda neat.
