Law and Order had a similar plot. They got a confession and a guilty plea out of a creepy serial killer who had lived in Houston by showing him a phony extradition request from the Houston DA. They told him unless he plead to the New York homicides they'd send him down to Texas where he'd get the needle for sure in a couple of years. God bless Texas.

Yes. Angie hang em high Harmon . I loved that character (Abbie Carmichael). The show went to hell when she left. Can’t say I think up of her new show, but we have had only one episode (Rizzoli & Isles).
