You mean they have agreed to pretend to be in disagreement so that the Dems are ‘trusted’ more for ‘standing up’ to Obama then reality would warrant?

In hindsight, I’d say that the way she says she ‘doesn’t even know him’ sounds like royalty saying that Gibbs is ‘beneath’ the notice of ‘quality’ people. And as she implies that Gibbs is an unimportant little ‘nobody’ who is ‘acting above his station’, his ego takes a kick to the shins and then Obama, who put him up to this in the first place, won’t stand up for him. Is it possible that Gibbs is beginning to get a little of what he deserves?
And yet the Repubs didn’t earn a victory, the Tea Partiers and GOP mavericks (if any) did. So I can see how our current ‘leaders’ would get overconfident hoping to harvest the fruits of other peoples labor.
It isn’t Fall yet. They still have plenty of time to screw up.
