I'll guess you didn't watch Nightline last night, where in a report on all this, experts in domestic violence were quoted a saying that women, when dealing with just such a situation, should respond in a manner exactly as this woman responded, in a clam monotone manner.
But the bottom line- that you keep on ignoring- is that Gibsons's sickness is not just about this woman.

#3 She tried to get paid in exchange for the tape from Mel.
#4 The first wife of Mel (28 years) just filed something with the court saying Mel in twenty eight years was NEVER violent with either her of the children.
I would love to have heard a recording with neither knew they were being recorded.
I think Mel is a big talker and that his gal pal was quite the greedy tool herself.

Truly, Mel Gibson sounds possessed in those tapes. His wife of 28 years is testifying that he never raised a hand or behaved like this towards her or any of their children. Why now? I understand he’s an alcoholic but he has been for years - that’s nothing new. Prayers needed for all of them.

The tapes were tampered with, and are inadmissible in court as evidence. The damage to Gibson’s public reputation is of course already done.
My opinion is that Mel is a verbally intemperate man with problems, and Oksana is evil.
