Not just Blackberry, but Droid, RIM and almost every other phone maker. It is an industry problem.
None of the other phone companies have "fixed the problem" as you so state.
And only 1.7% returned! Only a 1/3 of the iPhone 3GS!
Admit it, you're WRONG!
That's not been shown. All that was shown was that the number of bars dropped. What does that mean for the other phones? How much signal loss? Pretty pictures are pretty, but not to substantive...
Admit it, you're WRONG!
About what? That the iPhone 4 has antenna problems? Apple just confirmed my statement... Why else would Steve Jobs admit the iPhone 4 drops more calls than the 3GS, needs an antenna cover (the bumper), and is being "fixed" by September 30th?
If I'm wrong about this, then so is Apple...
I didn’t know other cell phone manufacturers were silly enough to put an external antenna on their phones. Especially one that doesn’t have some kind of insulator.
“And only 1.7% returned! Only a 1/3 of the iPhone 3GS!”
Bunny, honestly, if I had an iPhone 4, I would seriously consider taking it back now. They are going to have a factory fix soon. I know that most people aren’t noticing a problem but once the new phone is out, resale value on the Mark 1 version will be significantly less.
