Just the other day I was thinking of him and how he played off Wesley Snipes, who's "Willie Mays Hayes" roll was among the finest performances I have ever seen.
Good job Mr. Gammon, well done.
There’s a story they tell of “El Brazo” ... the butterflies took it ...
and they’ll never give it back!
‘how he played off Wesley Snipes’
It appear Snipes is also a sometime Ocala celebrity. Unfortunately he keeps getting picked up by the sheriff on drug charges. A few years ago he was drying out at a local rehab center and got busted in the center. He was just convicted on a tax evasion charge (he followed some tax avoidance guru and was proclaiming that he didn’t owe any taxes. He got three years on misdemeanor tax evasion charges. The story is on the Star Banner’s front page, right under the Gammon story. Rather ironical, it seems to ne.
Jumping on his hospital bed, to the nurse in Major League II: “Soap opera! Oh yeah! I LOVE this sh*t!!”
I always enjoyed Nash Bridges and he was one of my favorite characters on the show......such a great voice and wonderful eyes.....
One of the best. RIP sir.
