I just re-read the end of the “Book” to make certain that I had not missed anything, and I’m pretty certain that the end will not be by a methane bubble. God has a better plan.

This is the biggest piece of crap trying to pass itself off as real journalism that I can recall. Read the “sources”. Most don't have anything to do with any of this.

Just because so many people deserve to experience Doomsday does not mean that it is imminent.

Hey, better a mega fart than a megalomaniac. Nothing we can do anyway if that happens!

“251 million years ago a mammoth undersea methane bubble caused massive explosions, poisoned the atmosphere and destroyed more than 96 percent of all life on Earth”
.
Anyone that read past that line desperately needs a hobby to take up their obviously vast period of spare time.

Alrighty, then. I’m packing Momma and the kids and heading to Alaska.
I’ve gotta admit that this is one of the scariest things I’ve ever read, especially given the tone and well-informed, educated delivery.
I’m wondering how fast this piece is going to spread through cyberspace, and whether it will be debunked, or proven to be on solid theoretical ground.

There's ample evidence in the geological record to show pretty convincingly that if Mother Nature ever decides to waste us all, there's not a whole honkin’ lot we can do about it.
