Liberal journalists suggest government shut down Fox News
The Daily Caller ^ | 7/21/2010 | Jonathan Strong

If you were in the presence of a man having a heart attack, how would you respond? As he clutched his chest in desperation and pain, would you call 911? Would you try to save him from dying? Of course you would.

But if that man was Rush Limbaugh, and you were Sarah Spitz, a producer for National Public Radio, that isn’t what you’d do at all.

In a post to the list-serv Journolist, an online meeting place for liberal journalists, Spitz wrote that she would “Laugh loudly like a maniac and watch his eyes bug out” as Limbaugh writhed in torment.

I read the article and did not see anyone saying to shut down Fox? Which senetence in that article says that?

Jonathan Zasloff, a law professor at UCLA, suggested that the federal government simply yank Fox off the air. “I hate to open this can of worms,” he wrote, “but is there any reason why the FCC couldn’t simply pull their broadcasting permit once it expires?”

Page TWO of the article. Yesterday's Daily Caller article was 3 pages long. Worth reading the whole thing.

Thanks. When I read it early this morning it didn’t have that part.

It’s “interesting” to see ABC, CNN, et al in spin mode trying to defend a bigot who discriminated against a white man and who was applauded for that act at an NAACP meeting.

They are saying she was taken out of context. Except that the audience still supported her bigotry.

And Media Matters ROUTINELY redacts quotes where a talk show host is reading a passage or quote and then rebutting the statement with his own followup opionion. George Soros’ Media Matters (friends of those who post to Journolist we read yesterday) deliberately miscasts these statements so as to smear conservatives.

And the Pravda Media is silent on the scam.

Someone manufactured racist wikiquotes and attributed them to Rush Limbaugh. That smear cost Mr. Limbaugh an investment opportunity in an NFL franchise (he was blacklisted).

The media laughed all the same.

The libs probably have no problem with shows like Simpsons and Family Guy on the Fox _Broadcast_ Network. But... hey, by watching those shows you’re supporting the same guy that owns Fox News, are you, liberals?

Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy, who has become rich due to
that show (and Cleveland and American Dad) airing on Fox,
was once asked what he thought about Rupert Murdoch being a conservative and yet airing his programming. MacFarlane
said that Murdoch has no problem—they’re successful shows
and make Rupert’s corporation lots of money (and Seth too
of course): “Rupert’s a businessman first and a
Republican second.”

Some on the Left would probably shudder to think that these shows air on that far-right-wing Fox network, but they do,
and MacFarlane gets to spew his lefty views there. But
the money tree is thriving (I know, the Left hates
capitalism, but there you go.)

......If you were in the presence of a man having a heart attack,.......

Yesterday while having lunch at Ridgewoood where some say you get the best pork Bar Be Que in the world, there was a commotion at a nearby table.

A Sullivan County ambulance rolled up and then the Bluff City rescue squad. They loaded up the elderly man on the gurney and took him to the ambulance. His wife attended him.

There were two other people at the table, undoubtedly the son and perhaps daughter in law (or maybe vice versa). They continued their meal. They were after all at Ridgewood eating the best pork barbeque in the world and could not let something as mundane as a heart attack interrupt the fabulous meal.

This is a true story, it happened yesterday

They are T E R R I F I E D. Pathetic. This kind of stuff shows what real deep-down cowards they are, who don’t even have the courage of their convictions. (What? Did I say “convictions”?) They don’t have any of those, either. Just whiny, self-serving toady-ism. They deserve each other. Pitiful.

And still no one is building the needed guillotines to deal with the fifth column enemy of the Republic, euphemistically known as ‘the press’.
