Has anyone put these two news stories together yet? I thought that this country is no better than any other country.
July 22 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. politicians may dream of one day sinking into the presidential bed aboard Air Force One. David Cameron, returning last night from his first trip to the U.S. as British prime minister, took a business-class seat on board a scheduled British Airways flight. http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-07-21/pinching-pennies-u-k-s-cameron-goes-commercial-on-u-s-trip.html

Obama's dog gets a private jet. Just Plane Crazy: Obamas Dog Flies to Vacation on Separate Jet
(By Doug Powers July 17, 2010 02:26 PM) Not enough room on Air Force One for a Portuguese water dog and Reggie Love? Obama had to have a smaller jet (G3 Gulfstream, according to the story) serve as Air Force One instead of the 747 the president usually uses because of the size of the airport, but still, its a dog and were all supposed to sacrifice in order to get through these tough economic times, right Mr. President? Um, Mr. President?
There was some concern because the jet carrying the First Couples egos was a bit late in arriving due to rough weather over Shangri-La.

It was pointed out that the dog flew with the advanced group ... not like the dog flew alone on a personal doggie jet ....
I like the fact that Cameron is taking a commercial jet. I just added the dog.
Is Obama better than Cameron?
I thought Obama said we (U.S.) is no better than any other country. So why does he need to fly the way he does if we are no better. We gave up the space program why not the 747?
Not to mention the cost the CO2, etc.
I reply to the post not the poster but I see what you mean. Down here people look upon the Bamster as a joke ... they ask me was was the US thinking when they voted him in???
Out of the two of them, the dog actually DESERVES a private jet.
We have Internet.
I just e-mailed to someone in Australia.
You don't need 747’s to go on a date night.
I think the point is none of them need a private jet.
If this country doesn't need a space program then the president and his dog doesn't need a private jet.
