Support for the building of a fence along the Mexican border has reached a new high, and voters are more confident than ever that illegal immigration can be stopped.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 68% of U.S. voters now believe the United States should continue to build a fence on the Mexican border. That’s up nine points from March when the Obama administration halted funding for the fence and the highest level of support ever.
Just 21% oppose the continued building of the border fence.
Support for the fence is strong across all demographic groups. But while 76% of Mainstream voters think the United States should continue to build the fence, 67% of the Political Class are opposed to it.
Forty-seven percent (47%) of all voters believe it is possible to end illegal immigration. That’s up slightly from April of last year.
Now only 36% do not think it is possible for the United States to prevent illegal immigrants from getting into the country. That’s down sixteen points since October 2008.

They voted, then went back to LA on the protest buses...hard to believe there are these many illegals being contacted by pollsters...
That is IF the GOPers will grow the stones enough to contest the issue.

I'm sure, in their regular planning sessions, the editors at the NYT and other Pravda/MSM propaganda outlets are assuring the White House, "Don't worry, we've got your back."
There is over 400 billion dollars of the stimulas money left. Obams could use 10 to 15 billion of that to build the damn fence. That would help national security, create jobs and make 68% of the people happy.
What OTHER country has absolutely no requirement to show papers on entry or provide them when requested?
IIRC, Mexico shoots those entering illegally on its southern border, or, at lease jails.
Really. Illegal is not a race.
This, however, is all about blurring borders, imposing lower wages on all due to migrant labor, the NAU/NWO. IMHO.
Every branch of the 3 in our government is now against the will of the People. Every frigging one, save the odd man/woman. The illegality and lawlessness is pure tyranny. Impeachment and jail are truly, truly viable effots.

That 21% is made up of more than just illegals. It's also made up of:
1. Immigration lawyers
2. Union Bosses
3. Rich liberals who think all illegals are either maids, nannys, or lawn boys
4. Politicians who want illiterates to keep them in office.
I like this one; it lends credence to the entire poll.
