I'm sorry. I think we're crossing wires here. I was responding to someone about why Obama didn't get invited. Clearly, the Secret Service would be placed in a VERY awkward position, considering it would be in direct opposition to normal protocol to allow a sitting president to be in such close proximity to a convicted felon who is still on probation.
I'm sure they didn't have a problem with a former president being there.
