Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have called off their second engagement after he told her he may have fathered a baby with another girl.
The other girl was not identified, but a pregnant ex-girlfriend of Johnston has publicly denied he is the father.
The 19-year-old daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told People magazine that the "final straw" was when Johnston told her he was going to Hollywood to see a hunting show, but actually went there to star in a music video mocking her family.
Sarah Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, says she hopes her daughter will "move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she'll know to trust but verify."
I dont know why she is messing with him in the first place..burn me once shame on you..burn me twice shame on me.

I’m sure NPR covered Gore’s daughter’s divorce the way they covered Palin’s daughter’s broken engagement. Yeah.
Governor Palin doesn’t need this from her supposed supporters. Bristol isn’t any different from any other politicians daughter. Her family is just very hated by the media. We don’t need to make fun of her, too.
The bias is just staggering, isn’t it? They have been kneeling at Chelsea Clintons feet all week. They mock and make fun of the Palins. I heard a reporter bragging the other day about how they had respected Chelsea and let her grow up out of the limelight. Too bad they can’t leave Governor Palins children alone, too. I think Bristol acted pretty mature in recognizing that Levi was not what she needed. She just needs to stop talking to the media.
Bristol will be thankful for this down the road... I know Sarah and Todd are thankful RIGHT NOW.

I dunno, but some decent young guy should relocate himself to Wasilla and show this girl what a real man is like.

Oh how many of us have not been taken in by a beloved? I know I have. We’ve been willing to suspend disbelief because we wanted (needed?) to believe so very badly.
In addition, this young woman is very young and not so wise and has a much loved child’s future at stake.
I bet if i take names, a lot of the same names will show up bashing women for wronging them. And did you not try too hard, stay too long, give too much of the benefit of the doubt to those users? Surprise, Bristol has seen what she wanted to see, just like most of us have at some time or another.

whomever didn’t predict this type of ending should get their heads examined. The entire thing was a move by Levi to use is link to the Palins for a quick buck. he had no intention of being a husband to Bristol, father to Tripp, or son to the Palins. He will probably come out with a book before too long, ghost written by some leftist hater like Joe Mc Guinniss.
Bristol, please get a restraining order as soon as you can, this guy is trouble.
It took me several times to realize the father of my first son was a flat out loser. I was young and stupid. If Bristol is anything like me she will grow up, meet a real man, get married, have other kids, a good dad replacement for Tripp, etc... I really hope the best for her. Having a child outside of marriage with an idiot is a lesson in life she will still experience when her son is grown up.
