NEW YORK - Alex Rodriguez became the youngest player to hit 600 home runs Wednesday, reaching the milestone after a 12-game drought and exactly three years to the day after his 500th homer with a drive off Toronto's Shaun Marcum in the first inning at Yankee Stadium.
Rodriguez lofted a 2-0 pitch over the middle of the plate for his 17th homer of the season, giving the Yankees a 2-0 lead.

This news makes me thirsty for some juice.
A-Roid.
So he should catch Bonds* in about 5 more seasons ...
Steriod records should be deleted from the record books or put in a new catagory - Pre-Roids & Post-Roids
Any excuse to look at Alex R.
A Rod owns an auto dealership in the Dallas area.
I won an ebay auction from the place on a low ball bid for a beautiful Mercedes R.V.
There was NO reserve and when I called to claim it they told me sorry they’d sold it the day before.
Horse pooh, they just didn’t get enough on the deal so they washed their hands.
I gave them a crap feedback and I will ALWAYS think A-Rod a piece of CRAP.
Kinda shocked to see he only has 17 HRs this season - definitely a fall off from the enhanced years. Hank Aaron remains the true HR leader.
Agreed. Hank Aaron's wrists and great timing were all the enhancements he needed to hit a baseball out of the park.

Heard a story of Willie Mays playing a double header in Frisco once.
Went home and played stick ball with the neighborhood kids in the streets afterwards.
Today, seems they go do the hoe’s and high life nonsense.
Nothing you’d hope your kid emulate.
Howdy Slayer.
we feel the same way.....of course, we’re in Mariner territory...maybe the only team that has never been to the World Series
YEA AROD............LOVE YA A ROD LOVE THE YANKEES LOVE THE YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about Frank Robinson getting in a fist fight and getting ejected from Game 1, coming back and hitting a home run with one eye swollen shut in Game 2?
Howdy Joe... I heard that story too... and The Babe was noted for playing with kids too... and taking them for ice cream... and he even helped a few families of those needy kids... always out of the spotlight. Big difference in character today.

Well I hope that one day you enjoy that sweet victory. I was a Saints fan... guess I still am but I KNOW disappointment!
