This is when you find out how helpful your bank/credit card company is.

Best of luck to you.

My daughter bought flowers on there. She said once you proceed, you can’t cancel it. Much more expensive than advertised. Shipping kills you. Would not recommend it. Seems like a ripoff.

I had this happen. I caught it the second month.

I called the credit card company and on the spot the
card support person called them and conferenced me in.
ThEasySaverRewards person asked if I had ordered
vitamins, I hadn’t. I really don’t know how they
got my cc number.

EasySaverRewards promised to refund and stop.

I got a call in a week from cc company to say the refund
had been credited to my account. They canceled that card
and mailed me a new one. The cc company was great.

for Valentines Day i ordered my wife two dozen red roses in a nice vase with chocolates and some sort of restaurant coupn from ProFlowers....they advertised it for $49.99...when they were done with all their charges it came to over $80 (tax, delivery charge, additional valetines day delivery charge)...i thought my wife would enjoy them and I’d score big points so what the heck- i ordered it...

i come home from the gym Valentines morning, asked my wife if she liked the flowers and she said, “yes- but can i tell you something?? next time get them from the A&P”...i said “WHAT???!!!”

upstairs in a cheap cardboard box are one dozen multi-colored roses, many of them half dead...i was furious and promptly called...they offered to bring a replacement- three days later!!!

i demanded a refund, which i got, and told them they could come back and pick up the “roses” they dropped off....i will never order from them again...

I’ve ordered from them a number of times. No issues, just decent flowers. I think this illustrates the need to make sure you know what your doing when you order stuff online though. Gotta read the fine print!

Sean Hannity, Dennis Prager, Hugh Hewitt, and other conservative radio talk hosts promote ProFlowers. I’ve used ProFlowers half a dozen times with excellent results. However, I only order one delivery at a time, no subscriptions.

They are a well known scam.
My great aunt got hit by them a few years ago, had to use CC company fraud protection to get the charges removed.

You bet!...The same damn thing happened to me! I had over 240.00 dollars in charges of 14 dollars a month being deducted. I raised hell with them! They returned the full amount. It happens when you click on this extra window that is a free offer or something....I was not checking the balance every month on that card and obviously they hope you won’t either!

Same thing happened to us. We contacted our credit union and they reimbursed all the charges for months back.

I ordered some recently and I recall them offering a shopper’s rewards program at check out. I declined it and didn’t see anything after about it. Sounds like a mistake.

On the other hand, the flowers I ordered for my wife were the best we’ve ever received. The quality was so good, the stems have started to root in the vase after a few days and I hope to have some to plant in a few weeks (I’ve encouraged it by adding some rooting powder to the water after I noticed the rooting.)

A similar thing happened to me by Gevalia coffee web site. I did have a membership with Gevalia and they provided “Reservation Rewards” with my debit card account #. This is what I did...after I called the 800 # on my bank statement and learned how Reservation Rewards got my debit card account #.
Bottom line...you may need to cancel your account and establish a new account...I know this is a big hassle but this may be the only way to stop the charge on your account.

Step 1: My message to Gevalia via their online customer service contact.
I want you to provide me with a Gevalia email address that I can attach scanned ‘documentation’ that will support my claim of fraudulent activity that you perpetuated against me. On April 10, 2009 you (Gevalia.com) fraudulently authorized Reservation Rewards to establish a membership in my name and provided them with my debit card account number. This was done WITHOUT my authorization and you have caused me a major inconvenience. I had to cancel my debt card account.

Step 2: Email message sent to Reservation Rewards & Gevalia
April 18, 2009
Reservation Rewards Member #: xxxx
Gevalia Account Number xxxx

On April 10, 2009 Gevalia.com fraudulently authorized Reservation Rewards to establish a membership in my name and provided Reservation Rewards with my debit card account number xxx. This was done WITHOUT my authorization and this has caused me a major inconvenience. I had to cancel my debt card account, make a personal visit to my bank and order a new debit card which I must wait up to ten (10) business days to receive.

How do I know Gevalia authorized this fraudulent transaction?

I called 800-xxx-xxxx (Reservation Rewards) that appeared on my bank statement and asked them about the $12.00 charge on my account. They informed me that Gevalia.com authorized the establishment of a new membership in my name and provided Reservation Rewards my debit card account number, which allows Reservation Rewards to charge a monthly fee of $12.00 for the membership. I DID NOT authorize Gevalia or anybody else to set up this membership.

Attached are scanned documents that show the fraudulent transaction that you (Gevalia.com) authorized on my debit card account.

1. Scanned copy of my bank account statement that shows the $12.00 Reservation Rewards charge on April 10, 2009 on my bank account. The actual transaction date was April 11, 2009.

2. Scanned copy of the email I received on April 11, 2009 from Reservation Rewards informing me of my membership.

3. Scanned copy of the email I received on April 11, 2009 confirming the cancellation of the Reservation Rewards membership. I called the 800 number on my statement and cancelled the ‘membership’ as soon as I saw this transaction on my bank account.

My statement sent to Gevalia…I expect Gevalia to 1) apologize for your actions of fraudulently authorizing Reservation Rewards to establish this membership WITHOUT my approval and providing them with my debit account number WITHOUT my approval and 2) send me a check for $12.00 to pay for the fraudulent activity that you did WITHOUT my approval.
