Legislation pending in the House would restrict automatic citizenship to children with at least one parent who is an American citizen or lawful permanent alien living in the United States. The bill has 94 co-sponsors, including 15 of 20 Texas Republicans in the House. Currently, a child born in the U.S. is automatically a citizen, regardless of the parents’ status.
Show me another country where the offspring of illegals are bestowed citizenship. This is insane.
