I have sent many a person packing on down the road that had qualified to operate heavy equipment, they passed a drivers test with me and showed all the interest and intelligence needed to perform the job duties.
But call me arrogant, call me me every vile name that usually comes out of your mouth leftists trolls but its my call, I’m an old white fart and I earned my seniority the right way.
To me my employees represent my company and I have no tats or piercings, if they have tats they are where I cannot see them.
I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person with certain job requirements and if someone else feels the same then it gives me a good feeling. Now if I had to go looking for work and everyone there was a walking graffiti noteboard of things stuck in them and I felt I was being discriminated because I had nothing then I would be pretty upset.
My friend, I have one tattoo. Most of the guys in my platoon got this tattoo on the same weekend, and all of us got it on the left arm, just below the shoulder. It's a coiled rattlesnake, with the following words underneath it:
We got these tattoos years before the Tea Party movement adopted the Gadsden Flag. I know the Marines also like their "globe and anchor" tats. I hope that if you see just one military style tattoo peeking out from under somebody's sleeve, you'll make an exception in your hiring policy.
