“SSS

and take the radio collar and attach it to a long haul truck.”

Or, remove the battery and mount it on a nice wood plaque, right alongside the skull of the predator.

Do you think a wolf could learn to eat democRATS?

No. democRats are distasteful even to wolves. Wolves have their standards, too.

You want that wolfie travelling! I understand that the DOW will search the area where the signal stops. Maybe have to attach it to a racoon or something that wanders?

All the wolves in the country are worth less than one calf.

150 lbs

He could have weighed that. He probably did, I was only guessing, and not trying to over guess.

Great family dogs

My sister gave him to some sheep ranchers. He was just too much dog for them.

We have a 192lb Great Pyrenees here on the farm. We call him “Bonehead.” He is very friendly but always alert, he chased down a Coyote last winter and two red Fox this spring. He has had a brawl with 2 Pit bulls, killed one and severly tore up the other. We think they were after our sheep. Our female Pyr. “Mrs Bonehead” was in their way, tore her up some till Bonehead his self got into the fray, Wow! Very intense and fast, it was over. Mrs B. is 122lbs, 1yr old, all she wants to do is play. I would suppose if the Wolf killed the Pyrenees, it was a female because it is nearly impossible to hold onto a male when they see a threat.

Dang, man! That's a great thesis! Think about how many young girls are 'attracted' to the bad-guy and how long this has been goning on? All youngins are liberal and that could explain how Billy Badass inevitably winds up on your doorstep.

Fatal Attraction writ large, I guess. The country needs parents and real adults in charge, stat!

My two year old dog is half Great Pyrenees, quarter Rottweiler and quarter Pit Bull. His father was full Pyrenees and the mother was half Rottweiler and half Pit Bull. The dog weighs 130 lb and has a real big head and jaw muscles. My one year old kitten is his best friend. I never saw a dog and a cat enjoy each others company so much. He's a pretty mellow dog but he does get protective when strangers come to the house.

We saw a dog in Nevada that was half Great Pyrenees and half yellow lab. It was as big as a male Great Pyrenees but looked just like the worlds biggest lab. I could not take my eyes off of it.

He sounds like he could handle himself if he or one of you was seriously threatened, that’s quite a mixture.

"My sister gave him to some sheep ranchers. He was just too much dog for them."

We had females. They put up with a lot of crap from us kids, but were never, ever threatening to us in any way. Now when they got into tiffs with each other...

But, you could teach them to believe a democRAT tastes like elk. By the time the wolf realizees they have been duped, it will be too late for the ‘rat.

Not good news : as hikers , boy scouts, and other un-armed city folks will get a further predator education.

Not just the bears pulling sleeping people out of their tents and such

We have a 130 lb. male Pyr named Sam. Our country home is surrounded by a creek and heavy forest. The only direct way to the house is over a narrow wooden bridge over the creek. Sam sits for much of the day on our side of the bridge and serves as a sentinel. He is very sweet and gentle with kids and other small domesticated animals. He is extremely protective of the house and family. Strangers which are not recognized will not be allowed over the bridge. They are fearless protectors and absolutely the best breed for this job.

Your “Bonehead” must be massive. In addition to great strength, the Pyr’s also have excellent agility. They're just a wonderful breed for families in far-suburban or rural settings.
